The Industrial Series was created shortly after Bethlehem Steel announced their Bethlehem, PA plant closing on November 18, 1994. Its purpose is to honor all the steelworkers, including my father, who helped to build this nation through their labors. The first print, a view of the Bethlehem Steel blast furnaces, was produced and copyrighted in 1995 and the rest of the series soon followed. My prints sold locally through art shows, local shops and at the main offices of Bethlehem Steel's Martin Tower, as well as nationally over the past 19 years.
These are great gifts for the steelworker and fitting mementos of your loved one and their labors.
What do previous recipients say about The Industrial Series?
As hard as it is to look back sometimes, it's also good to remember. Thanks for helping those of us who have those memories do that.
Linda, I got the Bethlehem Steel picture today, I love it!
The photo arrived yesterday. It's outstanding and will make a great centerpiece of my steel mill collection.
Linda, I received the blast furnace picture today. I must say what a great job you did. I am more than pleased. |
