Sterling silver rhinestone cross with a Stanhope lens, emerald cut rhinestones and a circle of round rhinestones. The cross is marked STERLING on the back and measures 1 5/8" by just of 1" across. The cross is in excellent condition with no dark speckling on the rhinestones, but, alas, the microphotographic image that generally resides beneath the lens has gone missing. I understand that Stanhope-less crosses can be restored with a new image and there are websites that will give you a free repair estimate on having that done. I have not cleaned this item, so tarnish remains on the sterling silver, but this would brighten nicely with a little silver polish.
