A beautiful Bavarian creamer and sugar with gold trim, footed bases, ribbon-like handles and lid holder and scalloped edges. The floral decoration looks handpainted by the raised texture on the design. One small area on the one side of the lid has come off near the end of the design, but it doesn't affect the overall beauty of these pieces in any way. Squarish in shape, this older set measures 3 1/2" high and approximately 3 3/4" across. Signed P.S.A. A. or P.S.A.G. a chalice type figure in a circle on the bottom of each piece. (Please see photos.) I have not been able to find the mark so far, but I am still looking. I do know that they are a good match for one of the Edwin Knowles patterns--almost identical, in fact. Most of the gold trim is intact and and there are no chips or cracks on either piece. A very pretty set for your creamer and sugar collection, or for your summer table.
