Iridescent Victorian Mold Blown Water Decanters with a block or waffle pattern that I have not been able to pin down to a particular manufacturer. Manufactured during the late 1800s, most like circa 1880s. There is slight evidence of four seams, every three rows of blocks. A few air bubbles and there are stretch marks visible when looking through a 10x loupe. Decanters are chip and crack free. The iridescence is light. We have three decanters at the time of this listing. Each has a faceted stopper that is roughly made, with a seam on either side and what I believe are unground or unpolished pontil marks. Please check quantity availability prior to ordering if you hope to purchase more than one. Price is per decanter. Decanters measure 8 1/4" without the stoppers and 10" with the stoppers in place. These would have been used on Victorian tables to supply water to the guests. Beautiful as a decanter and equally beautiful as a vase for your favorite fresh flowers.
