Vintage rhodium and rhinestone double hinged bracelet with baguettes and round rhinestones. This bracelet is unusual in two ways--first of all for its mark--dorsons RHODIUM QUALITY. I have not been able to find anything about dorsons, and it is the first time I have ever seen a piece marked for rhodium content. The second unusual aspect is its size. When in its relaxed position, it measures 5 1/4" and could be a child's bracelet, but when spread open it fits nicely on my 6" wrist making me think it is actually an adult bracelet, especially because of the rhodium plating and solid construction, particularly the channel set baguettes. I would not expect that on a child's bracelet. The safety chain holds it securely either way. All of the baguettes are in place, though it is missing five of the round rhinestones. I may be able to replace the lost stones--please inquire at the time of order if you wish them replaced. A pretty bracelet, likely from the 1950s.
