These are different! Heart shaped shoe clips and a matching large hat ornament or ascot pin that appear to be made of wood or a similar composition that has been treated with gesso and painted. The shoe clips measure 1 3/8" by 1", have a grey decorative back clip with teeth, and are in good condition with some shallow cracking on the surface. These could also be worn as dress clips or even hung on a chain to wear as a pendant. The hatpin/ornament (could also be a large ascot pin) measures 5 3/4". One end is removable from the grey metal pin. This piece has wear on both ends, where small pieces of the paint have chipped away over the years, revealing the wood underneath (not damaged). I am certain that this could be restored with gesso and matching enamel paint, if desired. Two other options are 1) to leave them as is, since they are a nice specimen of early accessories, or 2) you could redo all three pieces to match your current wardrobe colors! Circa 1920s
