11 1/4 x 9 1/4 Joseph L. Wantz unsigned art print titled Let's Go which depicts a barn bearing an advertising sign for Amusements of America promoting The Great Frederick Fair. Made from an original painting that was created in 1970, this is an unsigned and unnumbered print, produced for Mr. Wantz by Lebanon Valley Offset Co., Cleona, Pennsylvania. The print shows the artist's name and date of creation as it appeared in the lower right hand corner of the original. Highly detailed and ready for framing. "Joseph L. Wantz was a realist painter for more than 60 years. Self-taught, his God-given talent was evident at childhood. A versatile artist, his painting and prints are appreciated in homes and businesses throughout the United States. Through the years, Mr. Wantz won numerous awards. He was commissioned to paint for several business corporations including The Nolan Company and Amusements of America. He painted extensively for the State of Maryland, Defenders of Wildlife, and private collectors. The subjects of Mr. Wantz's paintings are often reminiscent of people, scenes, and events in and around Maryland and southern Pennsylvania where he resided for most of his life. His paintings show his interest in the local people and places that inspired him."
