Figural AJC red glass belly bug pin for your lapel or tie, or wherever else you like. AJC stands for American Jewelry Chain Co., who manufactured a lot of figural and novelty jewelry between 1927 and 1997. This pin is white metal with a gold wash. The bug's head is a faux pearl and its body is a large oval red glass cabochon that absorbs the light and just glows! It's pretty hard to miss and will be a hit wherever you wear it. Measures 1" long and is marked AJC on the bottom. The metal and wash make me think this is one of their older pieces, although the actual date is unknown.
