The Industrial Series was created shortly after Bethlehem Steel announced the closing of their plant in Bethlehem, PA in November 1994. Its purpose was to capture this historic site as it was at the time, and to honor all the steelworkers who have helped to build this nation through their labors over many years. Among them was my father, a steelworker for 33 years who died just days the closure announcement.
This digital image of Bethlehem's blast furnaces is printed on Kodak photo paper. It measures 8"x10" and comes in an 11"x14" steel grey mat with an off-white V-groove. It is a wonderful gift for the steelworker and a fitting memento of your loved one and their labors.
My original art prints and notecards have been purchased locally through art shows, local shops and the now closed Bethlehem Steel's Martin Tower, as well as nationally over the Internet and through my website. At this time, these images are ONLY available at Yesterdays Jewels and are priced at 35% off the original prices.
PLEASE NOTE: The SAMPLE sticker over the photo is for the purposes of this listing only--your photo will not come with a sticker on it. Your photo will be placed in a protective plastic photo envelope and will be shipped flat in a sturdy document mailer.
