A pair of Lionel Barrymore Gold-Etch foil prints, circa 1970, that apparently were either Christmas gifts for investors or premiums that depositors could purchase from Union Bank and Trust Company of Eastern Pennsylvania, according to the information flap that came with each print. The prints are titled Quiet Waters and Harbor Shelter and measure 9 1/4" x 12 1/4". The accompanying mats measure 12" x 16". Quiet Waters is intact and attached to the mat and has both the informational flap describing the actor and his work. It is in excellent condition. Harbor Shelter has detached from the mat and has a few slight scratches and a crease along the left edge and some minor scratches on the bottom. The informational flap in intact, but the holiday greetings card is absent. The mat has a minor stain along the right edge and will need to be replaced before framing. Overall, this print is still in very good condition. These prints were left in the home that we purchased in 1982 and have been stored in a paper envelope for the past thirty years. It is my understanding that these may have been part of a larger set that sold for $150 or more at the time of their release.
