A fabulous 1950s single earring with one of the largest rhinestones I've ever seen! It's mate had a chip in the rhinestone and had to be discarded but this one is in excellent condition. The rhinestone is set into an etched beaded setting and has a gold foil backing that is coompletely intact. Measures 1 3/8" by 1 1/8". It is marked with a 1956 patent date. If you don't have the other half of this pair, don't despair. Single clipbacks make great slide pendants when hung upside down on your favorite chain or narrow choker, or you can use them as purse decorations, dress clips, or scarf holders. This one will look great no matter how you use it. Please check back regularly for new additions.
